Our Owner Laura Griffin
Laura Griffin's Bio
Laura Griffin began her career in accounting in 1994 after earning her degree from Eastern Michigan University. What started as an internship at a CPA firm quickly turned into a full-time offer—before she even graduated—a rare opportunity that reflected both her skill and strong work ethic.
After spending four years in public accounting, Laura transitioned into private industry, working as a plant controller and then full controller for several small companies. Following the birth of her daughter Bailey, Laura chose not to return to the traditional 9-to-5. Instead, she began supporting a few small clients as a personal assistant and bookkeeper, allowing her to balance motherhood and meaningful work.
She later joined Visteon full-time but was affected by a company-wide downsizing in 2009. That pivotal moment gave her the push to officially launch her own bookkeeping and accounting business—a practice that had already been growing steadily through word-of-mouth referrals.
With over 30 years of experience, Laura specializes in helping small businesses stay financially organized and confident. She offers a range of services including payroll processing, QuickBooks training and troubleshooting, account cleanup, monthly reconciliations, and full-charge bookkeeping.
Known for her hands-on, collaborative, and responsive working style, Laura becomes a trusted partner to her clients—offering not just financial services, but peace of mind. Her ability to translate complex financial information into practical insights makes her a go-to resource for business owners who want clear answers and reliable support.
As a woman-owned and woman-led business, Laura is proud to be a strong female presence in the accounting space. She is passionate about empowering other women—whether they’re launching a new business, building their careers, or managing the financial side of a growing company.
